yuro's symphony is a kinetic visual novel that i've been writing and developing for quite some time now on and off.
yuro's symphony is a kinetic visual novel following the stories and events of 4 main girls navigating a ‘perfect’ world referred to as HEARTKNOT which is powered by a large wired structure in the shape of a Heart. each resident of HEARTKNOT is connected to it, physically and spiritually. follow the girls on their journey and discover with them the hidden secrets of their world and the disturbing entities behind it.
HEARTKNOT - HEARTKNOT SIMULATED WORLD .｡*ﾟ+
HEARTKNOT is a simulated world / universe that individuals are transplanted to as apart of an experiment to see how different minds react and make decisions based off a series of events. Yoora, Keiro, Ruina, and Maja are ‘sent’ there as apart of an experiment being held on students in the Heaven’s Institute.
HEARTKNOT is also known as the large subject in the middle of the world which is seen as the Godhead, it is connected to everyone and everything in the world. The individuals will also be tracked on how they react to religion based figures and authority. Along with the HEARTKNOT the individuals also call to the 3HEART as authority figures which is comprised of Ophelia, Serenity, and Aito. Ophelia, Serenity, and Aito are the only 3HEART in HEARTKNOT, however are the lowest quadrant in HKRE.
The world of HEARTKNOT is strikingly beautiful, it is bright and lush with a variety of different plants and animals unlike anything in the real world. The landscape was built and designed by a large team of the best researchers at HKRE to concoct the perfect utopia. Beautiful labyrinth buildings with pink and white accents, extravagant flower beds and gardens, beautiful banquets and group dinners daily for girls to attend.
A part of the experiment is to see how different individuals will react when they live in a perfect utopia, and how the human mind will never be satisfied, always wanting and searching for something more or their higher purpose.
The individuals can engage in HEARTSPACE (personal rooms allowing individuals to go into dreamlike sequences that may reveal different scenarios- different individuals heartspaces may intersect and conjoin.) OR HEARTSTATE (an intoxicated state induced by nectar via flowers and plants on HEARTKNOT that causes plenty of hallucinations), occasionally these opportunities are restricted and prohibited to see how they react.
The individuals are subject to a multitude of mini psychological and physical experiments throughout the main experiment.
The largest sub-experiment has only been gone through and discovered by three individuals who’ve entered the main experiment.
HKRE - HEARTKNOT RESEARCH ENTERPRISES. .｡*ﾟ+
sponsored by 01 foundation (current and temporary code name used by the public) 01 council, a secretive council of 9 individuals who foresee and make final decisions about ANY experiments and operations that occur within the research facility. most researchers who are not high enough level within the enterprise, do not even know that the council exists. they are heavily knowledgeable researchers, but have questionable morality. majority are the first ever founders.
there are three levels of the foundation, the lowest level being comprised of three girls who are the public faces and communicate directly to those on the ground, individuals, experimental subjects, and outsiders entering the HQ.
the middle level is comprised by three girls who are also public faces of the foundation but do not communicate directly to those on the ground, the subjects, nor outsiders. they attend private events on behalf of the foundation, they often speak on behalf of the top level of the foundation, and they can often be seen in the media being portrayed as the head of the foundation.
the top level of the foundation is comprised of 3 individuals. it is primarily one girl, she is referred to as the ‘mother’ of the foundation. along side her are two other individuals. they are the voicebox of the mother to relay to the middle level of the foundation. there is not much information regarding the highest level or where they came from. they are not known to the public nor do they speak to outsiders. however, the two individuals are often tasked with speaking to government officials, militia, and other powerful entities regarding funding and deals.
‘inmates’ of the experiment are sourced from the Heaven’s Institute, a prestigious All Girls school. the foundation selects girls who are highly knowledge and dedicated to their work and school to see how strong the human mind and body is.
private military funding and government approval - HKRE is backed by, and several government officials are aware of- and actively funding the experiments and the foundation holding these experiments. there are several branches of the organization which the government is watching. several are related to psychological warfare and augmented neurological attacks.
majority of the documents and research notes documented within the laboratories are HIGHLY confidential, and only 2% of research is available for the public to view.
mind control weapon and surveillance - implanted to experimental inmates, temporary experimental subjects, prisoners, abnormal individuals, spies, and enemies who need to be studied and researched on, punished, watched, or contained.
they have the ability to see what you are seeing, hear what you are hearing, implant entire worlds, images and visions into your brain, simulate and inflict a multitude of pain through your neural pathways. voice to skull. they are able to imprison inmates and individuals for 'eternity'.
implanted in humans under the guise of being used for medical patients, contactless payment and recognition, physical access control, and tracing missing persons.
individuals with said implantation are under 24/7 surveillance, location tracking, and physical police operators. foundation individuals are able to keep track of said implanted individuals, and act swiftly if the individual is seeking to remove it and halt any further experiments.
individuals who are in ‘limbo’ are supposedly unable to escape, and information and procedures to counteract said individuals regarding escape plans are sparse. 01 council and HKRE will ensure that no outside information regarding said organization will be published under any circumstances by any party, employee, head researchers, government figure, or inmate.
individuals present in the simulated world experiments are only experiencing such content in their augmented neurological simulation. their bodies are typically but not always; held within the HKRE laboratory, and will be held there until the experiments are complete, which has always been indefinite. however, experiences and memories that have occurred in their simulation, will be remembered if they are pulled from the simulation. however, injuries, pain, etc will not affect their physical body, and only their perceived augmented one.
there have been countless experiments done on countless individuals. the current, and most populated branch of HKRE is dedicated to psychological experiments done on a wide range of demographics. the current experiment being held by the top research base is neurological experiments regarding simulations. these are held on students attending a prestigious all girls university, who possess many talents. the girls are carefully selected based on a multitude of factors decided by the 01 council.

the middle and highest 3HEART level of the 01 foundation are heavily knowledgeable researchers, but have questionable morality. the highest level of the 01 foundation are also regarded as the top level of 3HEART. they founded the research facility, and the top level comes to a peak which is the founding mother. it was her idea to start the facility along side her two partners.

the middle level is comprised by three girls who are also semi-public faces of the foundation but do not communicate directly to those on the ground, the subjects, nor outsiders. they attend private events on behalf of the foundation, they often speak on behalf of the top level of the foundation, and they can often be seen in the media and during press events being portrayed as the head of the foundation. they are seen as trustworthy, and are very charismatic personalities. all of them come from good families who are heavily invested into the research facility.
